Curious what peoples' opinions are of these furniture stores? I'm looking to buy a sofa/sectional that's not too expensive, yet not JC Penny quality. |

I'd rather buy from an American company that produces hand-made furniture built to last, but that's just me. |

I don't think I've been to Ashley. Mor's showrooms seem really random and chaotic - - my wife and I went into Mor and went right back out. We've bought a kitchen table and bed at Jerome's and liked their prices and selection. But when we bought our most recent living room set, we went to Living Spaces in Mission Valley. Lots of choices there, decent enough quality, and good prices. |

I bought a really well-made, comfortable & stylish sofa/loveseat set at La-Z Boy some years back, after looking in all the stores you mentioned, plus more. I thought they only had recliners, but they had quite a selection of furniture. I still have them & they still look good. |

Rooms To Go is a decent one as well last time I checked, but that was 2 years ago. Go over to "furniture row" on Miramar by the air station and check the stores over there. There are quite a few. |

I bought my sofas from Jerome's. Good quality and price, but they won't haggle. There are some furniture warehouses around SD as well that sell bulk stuff for a small discount. |

Macy's Home Furnishing offers better quality IMHO, has sales, and you can get a discount if you open a credit card account with them. Check them out. |

Hey DJ, close the loop on some of your threads asking for recomendation, like who you got to do your fence, who remodeled your kitchen, who cleaned your dogs teeth, who you did your tattoo with, etc etc etc. It might be helpful to some of us. I am especially curious about the kitchen remodel. Cheers! |

You should check out roomors. They have furniture with the same quality as the big stores but for much much less. Roomors |

We've purchased items from Mor, the quality isn't that high but the prices are okay with convenient financing options. Jeromes is a tad higher in quality with similar purchase options. We've purchased from Ashley and noticed higher quality and durability but you pay for that. Anything higher than that, you're going into Ethan Allen territory. |
